A writing studio where the world actually holds.
Most AI writing tools forget your world between chapters. Tell Cannon Craft what your setting is and how it works, and it keeps a searchable bible of the people, systems, places and rules — then grounds every draft in the slice of it your prompt needs, and asks before it changes anything.
How a chapter moves through
01–05- 01Briefthe world, as you describe it
- 02Retrievethe slice your prompt earns
- 03Draftprose, marked where AI wrote it
- 04Extractwhat the chapter implies
- 05Reviewapprove, and only then canon
Five steps, and only the last one can change your canon.
Built so chapter forty remembers chapter four.
The bible, the retrieval and the approval loop are the product. The editor is where you watch them work.
Bring your own world
Paste in what your setting is, what the story is about and the rules it runs on. The studio reads it, checks it against what it already knows, and proposes the people, systems, places and lore worth recording.
Retrieval, not vibes
Hybrid vector and keyword search pulls the exact entries and rules your prompt names — plus the previous chapter's synopsis, and one step of relationship around each entry. You can see precisely what was sent.
Prose that stays in its lane
Generation streams straight into the manuscript with AI-authored passages marked, so you always know which words are yours. Inline revision works on a selection, never on the whole chapter.
Canon changes need approval
After every save, an extraction pass reads the chapter back and proposes what it changed. Nothing is applied — not a status, not a relationship, not a new entry — until you approve it.

The world bible is the source of truth.
Every person, system, place, item, faction and piece of lore lives in one place, scoped to your novel, with its own free-form sheet for whatever your setting needs. Entries relate to each other, and a relationship is stored once — so it reads correctly from both ends.
One row: Emet Vale is the student of Suna Odal, and Suna Odal is the mentor of Emet Vale.

Retrieval you can audit.
Each draft carries the exact slice it was given — the previous chapter's synopsis, the entries your prompt named, one step of relationship around them, and the rules in priority order. Nothing is conjured from memory, and the panel shows you every source with the score that put it there.
Prompt names the Drowned Market; the envelope lists it, the broker who trades there, and the rule that makes it legal.
The rules the engine enforces
From the studio’s demo novel — the one it loads so you can look around before writing anything of your own. Every rule is injected into prompts in priority order, and anything above 90 is treated as binding.
- p96A memory cannot be distilled twicebindingDistillation separates an experience from the person who lived it. A bottle is already separated, so pouring it into a still yields nothing. This is the one hard limit the trade has never worked around, and every attempt has produced a blank.
- p94Distillation requires a witnessbindingA memory can only be taken from someone who was present at the event it records. A bottler who never saw the harbour cannot bottle the harbour. This is why the trade runs on testimony rather than theft, and why forged bottles are always exposed by the second pour.
- p92The auditor does not lie to the readerbindingEmet can be wrong, misled, or working from an incomplete Ledger, but the narration never conceals something she knows. Every reveal is a fact she has just learned or finally admitted.
- p90Close third person, past tense, one viewpoint per sceneThe novel is told in close third, past tense. A scene has exactly one viewpoint and does not leave it. No head-hopping, and no narration of events the viewpoint character is not present for.
- p88Auditors hold no property and may not tradeAn auditor of the Guild owns nothing that can be bought or sold, and is forbidden from buying or selling a bottle under any circumstance. The rule exists so that an auditor's judgement cannot be priced, and it is the reason Emet cannot simply buy the vial back.
- p84Every legal transfer enters the Ledger within a dayA bottle that changes hands lawfully is recorded in the Ledger before the next tide. Anything unrecorded is contraband by definition, whatever its provenance. Bottles found outside the Ledger are forfeit to the Vault.

Start a novel and let the bible keep up.
Describe your world, write in the studio, and review what each chapter implies before any of it becomes canon.
